Take part in The SMA Trust Ride Scorpion cycle event on Saturday 12th May and enjoy the beautiful Cotswold scenery for a good cause.
Get your friends and family together and choose your route: Perhaps a leisurely 20 mile ride in a loop from The Howard Arms in Ilmington or more of a challenge with the 66 mile loop full of a few steeper hills and bendy roads. For an extra challenging endurance cycle, try our unsupported route from Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Whichever route you choose for your Saturday cycle, we will welcome you across the finish line at The Howard Arms for food and merriment.
On completing your ride, you’ll be welcomed into The Howard Arms for food, drink and lots of thanks. Your registration includes an SMA Trust map and route instructions, support vehicle with bike mechanic and pitstop brunch on route for the 66 mile and London riders.
This year we are hoping to raise £20,000 which will be spent on our work funding vital research into a cure and treatments for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
